Bayreuth Gymnastics Club 1861 e.V.: Sports, Courses, and Club Life in Bayreuth
The Bayreuth Gymnastics Club 1861 e.V. is much more than just a training location. The club is described in a regional club presentation as the largest sports club in Bayreuth with around 2,800 members and 18 departments; additionally, it has its own club restaurant, regular course offerings, and an office located at Am Mühlgraben 7. Those searching for Bayreuth Gymnastics Club, eBuSy, directions, tennis, beach volleyball, or reviews will find a well-established multi-sport club that combines tradition, organization, and sporting diversity. Historical club reports and current booking pages also show that the BTS has continually modernized its facilities and offerings, providing a clear digital infrastructure for both members and non-members today. This blend of club life, sports park, and online booking makes the location equally interesting for visitors, parents, athletes, and course participants. ([region-bayreuth.de](https://region-bayreuth.de/en/organizer/bayreuther-turnerschaft-e-v-1861-bayreuth-uskoby?utm_source=openai))
eBuSy Course Booking and Court Reservation at the Bayreuth Gymnastics Club
The currently most important practical topic surrounding the Bayreuth Gymnastics Club is online booking via eBuSy. On the homepage of the system, the club points out that users must register once, after which they will receive a confirmation link via email and can then select their desired time. This is central to many search queries related to Bayreuth Gymnastics Club eBuSy, course booking, and court reservation, as it consolidates both the use of sports facilities and course organization into a single system. Particularly relevant is that the BTS not only manages individual sports areas but also represents several categories online: the tennis hall, outdoor tennis courts, beach volleyball, the athletics facility for schools, and course bookings in the area of Health & Fitness plus KiSS. For visitors, this means: those looking for a court or a course receive a direct, structured overview on the official booking page instead of scattered individual information. ([bayreuther-turnerschaft.ebusy.de](https://bayreuther-turnerschaft.ebusy.de/))
The conditions are also clearly regulated by season. According to eBuSy, the outdoor tennis courts can be used from May 1 to September 30; for the winter season of the tennis hall, the period from November 1, 2025, to April 30, 2026, is specified. For the outdoor courts, the club additionally requires a key against a deposit of 30 euros, which must be picked up at the office during opening hours and returned at the end of the season. For hall usage, single hours and subscriptions are possible, and a lighting fee of 2 euros per court and hour is also indicated. Important for seekers is that the club provides a clear contact point for inquiries: office by phone or email. So, anyone looking for a reliable booking system for tennis, beach volleyball, or course bookings will find a fairly precise organizational solution at the Bayreuth Gymnastics Club with seasonal rules, pricing logic, and digital confirmation via email. Directions, Address, and Office Opening Hours
The office of the Bayreuth Gymnastics Club is located at Am Mühlgraben 7 in 95445 Bayreuth. A current club report also mentions the contact details phone 0921/42059 and mail@bayreuther-turnerschaft.de. The opening hours are clearly stated there: Monday to Wednesday from 9 to 12, Thursday from 4 to 6 PM, and Friday from 8 to 12. It is also important for visitors to know that the office is closed or only irregularly staffed during school holidays. Thus, the BTS is not an anonymous sports center but a club with a classic office, fixed contacts, and understandable service hours. This structure is particularly helpful for parents, members, and course interested parties, as reservations, inquiries, and organizational matters can be quickly assigned. ([bayreuther-turnerschaft.de](https://www.bayreuther-turnerschaft.de/Hauptverein_Stand_2011_11_22/01%20hauptverein%20-%20aktuell%20-%20infos%20-%20termine/Report_2016.pdf?utm_source=openai))
Regarding directions, the BTS is somewhat special because the club organizes several sports areas at different locations in Bayreuth. The archery department, for example, describes summer and winter locations at different addresses: in summer at Hohlmühlweg 17, in winter at the Hans-Walter-Wild-Stadion at Sportpark 3. For the winter training hall, it is explicitly mentioned that parking is allowed directly in front of the gate or in the parking lot opposite the new triple gymnasium. This shows that the parking situation varies depending on the department and facility and cannot be reduced to a single blanket solution. Therefore, anyone driving to the Bayreuth Gymnastics Club should always check the specific sports area or booked area. This is, by the way, a typical feature of a large club: the organization is central, but the sports facilities are decentralized and distributed throughout the city for different sports and usage scenarios. ([bts-bogen.de](https://www.bts-bogen.de/kontakt/anfahrt-trainingsgelaende/?utm_source=openai))
Tennis, Beach Volleyball, and Athletics: The Bookable Sports Facilities
The current booking page of the Bayreuth Gymnastics Club quickly makes clear which facilities are particularly important for visitors and members. The focus is on the tennis hall and outdoor tennis courts, as well as beach volleyball and the athletics facility for schools. This is relevant for SEO research around Bayreuth Gymnastics Club tennis, Bayreuth Gymnastics Club beach volleyball, and Bayreuth Gymnastics Club course booking, as the BTS does not only present itself as a general sports club but offers concrete, usable facilities. Particularly practical is the clear distinction between indoor and outdoor seasons: the hall season runs in the cooler months, while the outdoor courts are bookable in summer. This way, the offerings adapt to the seasons without interested parties having to search long for hidden rules. The online visible bookings also help to quickly identify available times and reserve directly. ([bayreuther-turnerschaft.ebusy.de](https://bayreuther-turnerschaft.ebusy.de/))
The volleyball department also shows how lively the sports facilities are utilized. On its official page, the department explicitly invites participation, watching, and contacting the teams; training times, game times, and halls are organized and presented there. For beach volleyball fans, it is particularly interesting that the BTS has its own beach courts, described as a short vacation at the BTS beach. For members, usage is free, while guests can also book according to the department's page and get to know the club's atmosphere. Additionally, on home game days, provisions are made for physical well-being, and current results and game days are published on the subpages. This blend of training, competition, meeting point, and seasonal operation makes the sports facility of the BTS attractive for seekers looking for not just an address but a real club environment. ([bayreuther-turnerschaft.de](https://www.bayreuther-turnerschaft.de/abteilung/volleyball/index.html?utm_source=openai))
Another important point is the breadth of the facility. The booking logic already shows that the BTS not only manages tennis and beach volleyball but also allows the use of the athletics facility for schools and makes other areas visible online. Together with the department-specific pages, this creates an image of a club that does not isolate sports areas but organizes them in a coherent system. For families, coaches, and recreational athletes, this is a clear advantage: one can quickly recognize which area is available when, what the season looks like, and what prices or rules apply. Especially for search queries related to eBuSy, tennis, beach volleyball, or course booking, this transparency is a strong argument for the Bayreuth Gymnastics Club. ([bayreuther-turnerschaft.ebusy.de](https://bayreuther-turnerschaft.ebusy.de/))
Bayreuth Gymnastics Club 1861 e.V.: History, Size, and Club Structure
The Bayreuth Gymnastics Club presents itself historically as a grown sports club with a long tradition and significant development over the decades. An older club report describes the completed renovation, expansion, and modernization measures as the foundation for a sports park that has been described as unique in its diversity. It is also mentioned there that the newly designed club grounds are among the most beautiful in Bavaria and are attractive not only for members but also for non-members. Particularly formative was, according to the archive, the completion of the then largest construction project in the club's history, which was inaugurated in 1998 with a festive event and a hockey tournament. This is important for external perception as it shows that the BTS has not only been managed but has actively invested in infrastructure and understands itself as a sports park with club character. ([bayreuther-turnerschaft.de](https://www.bayreuther-turnerschaft.de/service/BTS_Report.htm?utm_source=openai))
The club structure is also remarkably broad. A club report from 2016 assigns the Bayreuth Gymnastics Club to the Bavarian Gymnastics Association and the German Gymnastics Federation and additionally names a number of specialized associations, including fencing, handball, hockey, athletics, modern pentathlon, roller sports, shooting, skiing, tennis, and volleyball. This shows that the BTS cannot be historically and organizationally reduced to a single sport but is a true multi-sport club. In the same presentation, the office at Am Mühlgraben 7, course registrations, KiSS contacts, and various department heads are also listed. For search engines, this breadth is relevant as it explains why, alongside general terms, very specific search queries such as tennis, volleyball, archery, course booking, or children's sports school appear at the gymnastics club. ([bayreuther-turnerschaft.de](https://www.bayreuther-turnerschaft.de/Hauptverein_Stand_2011_11_22/01%20hauptverein%20-%20aktuell%20-%20infos%20-%20termine/Report_2016.pdf?utm_source=openai))
Additionally, the role of the club in the everyday life of the city is noteworthy. A regional club presentation describes the BTS as the largest sports club in Bayreuth with around 2,800 members and 18 departments, as well as its own club restaurant. This makes it clear that the gymnastics club is not just a sports location but also a social network where training, courses, encounters, and club life converge. For visitors, this means: those googling the Bayreuth Gymnastics Club are often not just looking for an address but a place with tradition, breadth, and reliable organization. This also explains why terms like Bayreuth Gymnastics Club Bayreuth, Bayreuth Gymnastics Club reviews, or Bayreuth Gymnastics Club photos frequently appear together. Users want to first understand how large and versatile the club is before booking a spot or attending an event. ([region-bayreuth.de](https://region-bayreuth.de/en/organizer/bayreuther-turnerschaft-e-v-1861-bayreuth-uskoby?utm_source=openai))
Children, KiSS, and Healthy Training in Club Life
An important part of club life is the youth and health work. In the current eBuSy categories, the combination of Health & Fitness plus KiSS appears, and a club report emphasizes that the children's sports school offers a versatile and health-promoting sports program. This is a central signal for families, parents, and children: the Bayreuth Gymnastics Club sees itself not only as a competitive club but also as a place for promoting movement, motor skills, and early sports education. This fits with a modern club logic in which courses, children's groups, and health offerings play as significant a role as league operations or tournaments. For search queries like Bayreuth Gymnastics Club children's sports school or Bayreuth Gymnastics Club Health Fit, this is a particularly relevant topic as it directly addresses the target group. ([bayreuther-turnerschaft.ebusy.de](https://bayreuther-turnerschaft.ebusy.de/))
Historical club reports also show how strongly youth and family offerings are anchored in the club. They mention children's and youth gymnastics classes, extensive youth work in several departments, and collaborations with schools. For example, the hockey department collaborates with several Bayreuth schools, and the club also made its grounds available for school use and sports festivals in an older report. Additionally, the BTS has many volunteers who make the extensive sports operation possible. For visitors looking for a lively club environment, this is a crucial point: the gymnastics club is not just a shell of halls and courts but a strong network of coaches, helpers, parents, youth, and active members. ([bayreuther-turnerschaft.de](https://www.bayreuther-turnerschaft.de/service/BTS_Report.htm?utm_source=openai))
The breadth of everyday life is also evident on the department pages. The volleyball department explicitly invites participation or simply coming by as a spectator; the hockey and other departments organize tournaments, home game days, and match operations. Historical club reports also mention events such as doctors-patients runs, city duathlons, championships, tournaments, and hiking weeks. This underscores that the Bayreuth Gymnastics Club has long played a role as a place for movement and encounters. For an SEO-oriented presentation, it is therefore important to show not only the address but the overall character: the BTS is a club where children start, adults train, teams play, and courses for health and fitness take place. This combination makes the gymnastics club so relevant for Bayreuth. ([bayreuther-turnerschaft.de](https://www.bayreuther-turnerschaft.de/abteilung/volleyball/index.html?utm_source=openai))
Photos, Reviews, and Practical Orientation for Visitors
The search queries for photos and reviews show mainly one thing: many users want to get an impression beforehand. At the Bayreuth Gymnastics Club, this is particularly understandable because the club is not a single event building with a clear front but a versatile sports area with different spaces, subpages, and booking logics. Therefore, the official pages primarily provide practical information: Where do I book? Which area is open when? How do I reach the office? Which department plays where? For visitors, this is often more helpful than a mere image gallery because it facilitates concrete use. At the same time, the department pages with their game days, courses, and notes show that the BTS is regularly active and keeps its offerings up to date. ([bayreuther-turnerschaft.ebusy.de](https://bayreuther-turnerschaft.ebusy.de/))
So, anyone searching for Bayreuth Gymnastics Club photos or Bayreuth Gymnastics Club reviews should best combine the search with the practical key data. The most important facts are quickly summarized: location Am Mühlgraben 7 in Bayreuth, office with fixed opening hours, eBuSy for bookings, tennis and beach volleyball offerings, as well as the children's sports school and the broad departmental operation. Additionally, it is worth looking at the club and department pages, as current home games, course offerings, and seasonal notes are published there. This turns a mere name search into a real point of orientation in Bayreuth's sports life. This is the SEO core of this location: not only to be found but to be perceived as an active, well-organized, and versatile club. ([bayreuther-turnerschaft.de](https://www.bayreuther-turnerschaft.de/Hauptverein_Stand_2011_11_22/01%20hauptverein%20-%20aktuell%20-%20infos%20-%20termine/Report_2016.pdf?utm_source=openai))

I can only rate the large hall where good trampoline courses are offered. It's nice and spacious with plenty of room for all the necessary "equipment." The trampoline courses are run by competent and attentive people who know what they're doing and what to pay attention to. The outdoor area looks clean and well-maintained.
