Kintopp Hollfeld | Program & Opening Hours

The Kintopp Hollfeld is much more than a classic cinema. It is a developed cultural venue, a meeting point for the city and the entire region, and a place where film, stage, bistro, and community life intertwine. Therefore, those searching for Kintopp Hollfeld often mean not just a cinema appointment, but a whole experience: current films, special events, SilverFILM afternoons, cabaret, music, discussions before and after the program, and the special atmosphere of a house with history. The KINTOPP-Freunde Hollfeld e.V. association has been managing the house since January 1, 2014, and describes it as a cultural hub and social meeting point. The history of the place is closely linked to Hollfeld: The cinema life in the city began as early as 1949, followed by the new construction of the Stadtlichtspiele in Theresienstraße 8 in 1957, the new life of Kintopp started under Ursula Scheicher in 1982, and later the bistro and community operations were added. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/ueber-uns/))

For seekers, this is important because the interests surrounding Kintopp Hollfeld are bundled into several clear themes. Most users want to know what is showing today, which events are coming next, what the opening hours are, where to park, whether the house is accessible, and what prices or ticket options are available. These questions shape the perception of the house even in the official content. The homepage continuously displays new dates from film, stage, and bistro; additionally, the cinema informs via newsletter about the monthly program and other news. This makes Kintopp Hollfeld not only a place for spontaneous cinema visits but also a reliable point of contact for cultural appointments in the calendar. Program, today and upcoming events at Kintopp Hollfeld

Those searching for Kintopp Hollfeld program or Kintopp Hollfeld today usually want to quickly understand what is currently showing and which events are coming next. The official homepage is particularly helpful for this because it continuously compiles current program points from several areas. The spectrum ranges from pure film offerings to SilverFILM to cabaret, music, theater, and special actions in the bistro. The homepage announces, among other things, music before midnight on April 16, 2026, cinema for kids on April 18, 2026, Weißwurst brunch on May 1, 2026, Linus Cuno on May 9, 2026, Theater summer Franconian Switzerland on June 7, 2026, and Ines Procter on July 23, 2026. This clearly shows that Kintopp is not just a cinema but a vibrant event center. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/))

The house gains a special profile through SilverFILM, the series for older cinema guests and intergenerational afternoons. For 2026, the official SilverFILM program lists titles such as Love Forbidden, Marriage Allowed, It's the Little Things, The Three from the Gas Station, Madame Vernet's Rose Garden, At the White Horse, Heidi, Pear Cake with Lavender, and Ailo's Journey. This program covers both nostalgic film classics and friendly, easily accessible comedies and family films. This is important for the keyword world because many users are not only searching for the film program but also for upcoming events, generational cinema, or specific theme nights. Kintopp Hollfeld meets this demand with a mix of cinema, culture, and encounters that consciously goes beyond the pure film experience. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Silberfilm_Hollfeld_26_web.pdf))

Individual event pages also show how broad the spectrum has become. The official program includes events such as the Franconian Escape Room evening, a concert with Huebnotix, the children's musical Kuno Knallfrosch Rocks Europe, the Nature Film Festival 2025 with Alexander Huber, and the cabaret evening Oti Schmelzer - Schackalacka. This diversity makes it sensible to position Kintopp Hollfeld in search engines not only as a cinema but also as a stage for live formats. Especially in rural areas, this is an important distinction: visitors want to see at a glance whether film, music, children's programs, or cabaret are on the agenda on a specific date. Kintopp provides the relevant information on its website in a single, clear offering space. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/veranstaltung/franken-escape-room-abend/?utm_source=openai))

Tickets and Prices at Kintopp Hollfeld

At Kintopp Hollfeld, tickets and prices are not a rigid, uniform system but event-related pricing structures. This is typical for a house that offers both film screenings and live evenings, readings, children's programs, and special formats. For SilverFILM afternoons, an admission fee of 7 euros is indicated on the official program page. The children's musical Kuno Knallfrosch Rocks Europe is priced at 12 euros in advance and 15 euros at the box office, Huebnotix at 21 euros in advance and 24 euros at the box office, and Oti Schmelzer at 26 euros in advance and 29 euros at the box office. Such examples help users very concretely because they can assess what price range to expect before their visit. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Silberfilm_Hollfeld_26_web.pdf))

In practice, this means: Anyone looking for information about a specific date should always check the respective event directly. The official event pages list the specific ticket prices and, in many cases, also provide information on advance sales or box office. This is particularly important for search queries regarding prices or tickets because visitors often do not mean the general cinema but a specific concert, cabaret, or children's format. The advantage of Kintopp Hollfeld lies in the close connection between tickets and program: a user can quickly move from the program point to booking and usually sees immediately whether seats should be reserved. This proximity of information and booking opportunity is one of the reasons why the house functions so well online. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/veranstaltung/franken-escape-room-abend/?utm_source=openai))

Additionally, the official website and the newsletter offer regularly point out new program blocks. Those who are more frequently interested in Kintopp stay informed about the monthly film content and the changing special events. Especially for theme nights or popular live formats, early orientation is sensible, as announcements are often associated with advance sales phases. For an SEO page, this is important because terms like tickets, advance sales, box office, prices, and reservations are closely related to user intent. Kintopp Hollfeld provides a good information basis for this: clear dates, clear price information, and a format mix that covers both spontaneous cinema visits and planned cultural evenings. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/))

Accessibility and Seating at Kintopp Hollfeld

The capacity of Kintopp Hollfeld is a central search and information point because many visitors want to know how large the hall is and what room layout the house offers. According to the official rental page, Kintopp has 170 cinema seats, about 35 bistro seats, approximately 15 seats in the side room, and around 40 seats in the beer garden. This makes it both compact and versatile: it remains a manageable cinema with a personal atmosphere but offers enough space for events, dining, drinking, and socializing. For users searching for seating, hall size, or room capacity, this information is particularly valuable because it goes far beyond a rough cinema description. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/service/vermietung/?utm_source=openai))

Equally important is accessibility. Kintopp Hollfeld has been carrying the Bayern barrier-free sign since July 2022 and is described in the official SilverFILM document as the only cinema in Bavaria with this award. Access is therefore continuously barrier-free: through the beer garden, to the bistro, step-free into the cinema hall, and to all rows of seats. Additionally, there is a barrier-free WC and a disabled parking space directly on the premises. Accompanying persons of individuals with assistance needs have free admission. This combination makes the house particularly attractive for people with mobility restrictions, families with companions, and older visitors. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Silberfilm_Hollfeld_26_web.pdf))

From an SEO perspective, this point is strong because search queries related to barrier-free, wheelchair-accessible, seats, and seating plans usually have high informational intent. Kintopp Hollfeld not only provides a signal here but also concrete, reliable facts. The premises are organized so that guests can reach the hall from the outside area without thresholds or stairs. Especially in combination with the bistro and the additional seating areas, a house emerges that is designed not only for film but for the entire visitor experience. Those looking for a cultural destination that combines comfort and accessibility will find an unusually strong solution in Kintopp Hollfeld for a small town. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Silberfilm_Hollfeld_26_web.pdf))

Directions, Parking, and Bistro at Kintopp Hollfeld

For directions and parking, the official information is relatively clear and quickly usable for visitors. The address is Theresienstraße 8 in 96142 Hollfeld. Cinema.de lists parking spaces in front of the cinema for Kintopp Hollfeld, and there is also a disabled parking space on the premises. For users searching for parking at Kintopp Hollfeld or directions to Kintopp Hollfeld, this is the most important information: the house is not located in an anonymous big city setting but in a small town with short distances, direct accessibility, and a comparatively relaxed environment. Those arriving by car thus find practical orientation without having to search long for external parking garages or complicated transfer connections. ([cinema.de](https://www.cinema.de/kino/kinoprogramm/hollfeld/kintopp?utm_source=openai))

The bistro is also an important part of the overall idea. The website describes it as a place where guests can start their evening pleasantly before a film screening or event, wait for children during a performance, meet friends in a sociable atmosphere, or enjoy warm summer days in the beer garden. The food and drink selection includes regional draft beers, the famous baguettes, homemade cakes on Sundays, and classic popcorn in three sizes. This makes Kintopp not just a cinema location but a real place to stay that works before and after the event. For those searching for bistro, food, drink, or family-friendliness, this is a clear plus. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/bistro/?utm_source=openai))

For events that last longer or are associated with breaks and meetings, this mix of gastronomy and culture is valuable. The rental page explicitly states that Kintopp Hollfeld invites to eat, drink, and celebrate and can be used for anniversaries, birthdays, corporate parties, presentations, or other celebrations. The special charm is emphasized, as well as the possibility of incorporating a desired film. For user intent around directions, venue rental, and catering, this is important because Kintopp thus addresses not only visitors but also organizers. The spatial arrangement with cinema, bistro, side room, and beer garden creates flexible usage options that are remarkably versatile for a small cultural house. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/service/vermietung/?utm_source=openai))

History, KINTOPP-Freunde Hollfeld e.V. and Regional Significance

The history of Kintopp Hollfeld explains much of its current character. The official chronicle begins in 1949 with cinema life in the municipal cultural hall by Carl F. Helmut Böhner and Hans Stiefler. In 1957, the new construction of the Stadtlichtspiele in Theresienstraße 8 followed, with about 250 seats at that time. In 1978, the era of Stadtlichtspiele ended, and in 1982, the new life of Kintopp began under Ursula Scheicher. A stage for small art and music events was also built in front of the screen, while the reduction of seating increased comfort. In 1992, the bistro was added, in 2011 Ralf Söhnlein and Anja Kupfer took over the cinema and bistro operations, in 2013 the KINTOPP-Freunde Hollfeld e.V. association was founded, and in 2014 the association took over the operation permanently. In 2022, the 40th anniversary since the reopening was celebrated. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/ueber-uns/))

This chronicle shows that Kintopp is not an accidental special place but has been consciously developed over decades. It has transformed from a classic rural cinema into a multifunctional cultural house without losing its personal scale. Exactly therein lies its regional significance: the association, with now over 300 members, manages the house voluntarily and with great local support. The website emphasizes that Kintopp has been a term in the Upper Franconian cultural scene for more than 40 years, is regularly awarded funding prizes, and continuously hosts well-known names from cabaret, music, and theater. For the region, this is not just a cultural offering but also identity and connection. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/))

SilverFILM also underscores this role. The project emerged in 2018 from a local alliance of Kintopp e.V., the city of Hollfeld, and the multi-generational house, supported by regional partners and funding structures. The events are particularly aimed at older people and those in need of support and demonstrate how cultural participation can look in rural areas. In connection with accessibility, the bistro, and the volunteer-operated business, a credible overall picture emerges: Kintopp Hollfeld is not an interchangeable event venue but a cultural house with a social mission. Therefore, those searching for Kintopp Freunde Hollfeld e.V. are indirectly also searching for a form of regional responsibility that is visibly lived in everyday life. ([silberfilm.info](https://www.silberfilm.info/hollfeld/))

Photos, Impressions, and the Special Kintopp Charm

Many users search for Kintopp Hollfeld photos because they want to get an impression of the ambiance before a visit. The official website supports this first glance through image areas on the homepage, through event motifs, references to social channels, and through the clear interplay of cinema, bistro, and events. Even without a classic photo gallery, the site conveys the impression of a house that consciously focuses on atmosphere: not sterile, not anonymous, but charming, regional, and approachable. This fits with the recurring descriptions on the website that speak of the cozy screening room, the charismatic cinema, and the meeting point character of the house. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/))

This impression also explains why Kintopp Hollfeld appears so broadly in search queries. Those searching for photos often mean more than just images: they want to know whether the place seems friendly, whether the atmosphere suits an evening with friends, family, or a special occasion, and whether the visit feels personal. Kintopp meets this expectation with its combination of historical development, modern operation, barrier-free access, bistro, and varied program. From an SEO perspective, therefore, not only film and ticket terms are important but also terms like images, impressions, flair, and atmosphere. Kintopp Hollfeld offers exactly this mix of a tangible place and emotional impact. ([kintopp-online.de](https://kintopp-online.de/ueber-uns/))

A totally cozy, family-friendly cinema in vintage style. You can not only watch films in the charming auditorium but also relax in the bar, enjoy cocktails and a bite to eat. And of course, there's plenty of popcorn to nibble on. I'm really impressed! :)

A small and 'old-fashioned' (in a good sense) cinema. Very friendly staff. In the bistro, you can enjoy a delicious baguette and a drink before or after the film. Very cozy and highly recommended. Also worth checking out are the events on stage.
