Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this rehabilitation clinic. The medical care was very inadequate. There was only one visit per week, lasting about five minutes, and the doctors were constantly changing. What was particularly disconcerting was that two doctors came to completely different conclusions about my health: one doctor believed I could only work 2-3 hours a day, while another certified that I should be able to return to full-time work. The doctor who discharged me was yet another doctor who didn't even know me. The treatments were not adapted to my specific condition, and despite increasing pain, there were no alternative or additional therapies offered. Overall, I experienced more pain during my stay at the clinic than I did at home. The preliminary discharge report was especially problematic; its content was a disaster. Following a serious accident, it certified that I was fit to work full-time again, which I was forced to sign – completely unrealistic in my opinion. The cleanliness of the clinic also left much to be desired. The swimming pool was also far too cold, which made using it rather unpleasant. On the positive side, the food was delicious. Overall, the rehabilitation program did not meet my expectations or my health needs in any way.

I arrived home today after a four-week stay at the Roter Hügel Rehabilitation Center in Bayreuth. My time there was simply wonderful. I felt very well cared for and supported. Many thanks to the information staff, the doctors, the nurses, the service staff, the therapists, and the cleaning staff. I especially loved the swimming pool and the medical training therapy (MTT) during my free time. The excursions and trips to the city and, for example, to the thermal baths, planned by the clinic were also fantastic. I've never experienced anything like that in any other rehabilitation setting. The food was always delicious and varied. Thank you for a wonderful time that has helped me improve my health.

I was only there for three weeks, but I can't really complain. Apart from the lack of elevated chairs, which should be standard for an orthopedic clinic, everything was fine. The therapists were very friendly and always helpful. The doctors were excellent; I would go back.
