Maisel & Friends Conference Center | Conferences & Parking

The Maisel & Friends Conference Center is much more than a functional conference location: At Andreas-Maisel-Weg 1 in Bayreuth, the site combines historical brewery culture with modern event technology, individual catering, and accommodation options directly on the premises. Those planning a seminar, corporate event, meeting, or hybrid format will find a place here where short distances, flexible spaces, and an extraordinary environment come together. The area is part of a larger experience world centered around beer, enjoyment, art, and hospitality, which has been awarded multiple times and is considered one of the most prominent addresses for MICE, groups, and corporate programs in Bayreuth. It is precisely the mix of historical building substance, street art, gastronomy, hotel, and brewery that makes the location so special: One does not just come to hold meetings but experiences a site that turns an event into a well-rounded overall experience. ([bayreuth-tourismus.de](https://www.bayreuth-tourismus.de/mice/eventlocations/maiselandfriends/))

For organizers, it is particularly interesting that numerous components can be combined in the heart of Maisel & Friends: Spaces for presentations and conferences, catering from the Liebesbier kitchen, overnight stays in the Urban Art Hotel, additional experiences such as beer tastings or tours, and parking options directly at the location. The official site describes the Conference Center as a location in a historic building, whose rooms are equipped with the latest technology; the tourist overview categorizes Maisel & Friends as an event location and conference hotel with a total capacity of up to 220 people. This connection of experience, functionality, and identity makes the site appealing for companies, agencies, and private hosts looking for more than a standard seminar room. ([maiselandfriends.com](https://www.maiselandfriends.com/en/conference-center/))

Conferences, Seminars, and Hybrid Meetings at the Conference Center

The Conference Center clearly targets events where professionalism and atmosphere count equally. According to the official description, the event area is located in the historic main building of the Gebr. Maisel brewery, and each room tells a piece of the long brewing tradition. At the same time, all event rooms are equipped with modern lighting and sound technology as well as high-speed internet, making the location attractive not only for classic conferences but also for digital and hybrid formats. Those planning a product presentation, an internal management meeting, a training session, or a customer event can work here in an ambiance that possesses significantly more character than a conventional conference hotel. The location consciously focuses on the combination of functional workspaces and an experiential environment that complements the content part of an event with a strong supporting program. ([maiselandfriends.com](https://www.maiselandfriends.com/en/conference-center/))

Additionally, there is practical support from the event team. The official site describes that the planning of conferences, meetings, and corporate events can be accompanied, including participant management, digital invitations, catering planning, and individual program design. Broadcast and livestream formats are also part of the offering: The Broadcast Studio is specifically designed for presentations, live streams, and hybrid meetings and can transmit or record lectures with up to four speakers on-site live. This is interesting for companies because it allows for the combination of classic in-person events and modern content production. The spatial proximity of the conference area, restaurant, hotel, and experience world also ensures that day programs, evening events, or multi-day events can be implemented particularly easily. ([maiselandfriends.com](https://www.maiselandfriends.com/en/conference-center/))

The environment of the Conference Center also plays an important role. Maisel & Friends describes the area as a place where craftsmanship meets enjoyment, tradition meets innovation, and historical walls meet modern architecture as well as contemporary street art. This identity shapes the impact of every event: A strategic meeting feels less interchangeable here, a product presentation receives more stage, and a corporate celebration more narrative depth. For organizers, this is a clear added value because one does not just book rooms but stages a brand world. Those wanting to impress guests can do so with an event layout that transitions from the conference room to the gastronomy, to the hotel, or into the brewing world. ([maiselandfriends.com](https://www.maiselandfriends.com/en/conference-center/))

Rooms, Floor Plans, and Capacities

The variety of rooms is one of the greatest advantages of the Maisel & Friends Conference Center. The official room table lists a total of seven event rooms, including Brausaal, Brennerei/Abfüllerei, Callista, Tasting Room, The Lab with Galaxy, Amarillo, and Ariana, as well as the Broadcast Studio. The capacities are deliberately designed to be different: The Brausaal is the largest room with 220 square meters and can accommodate up to 350 standing or 220 seated guests. The Brennerei/Abfüllerei offers 185 square meters plus 65 square meters in the adjacent area and capacities for 130 plus 40 people, providing a rustic, historically rich stage. Callista encompasses 85 square meters and is designed for up to 40 people, while the Tasting Room is designed for up to 12 people with 35 square meters. The Broadcast Studio offers 45 square meters for around 20 people. ([bayreuth-tourismus.de](https://www.bayreuth-tourismus.de/mice/eventlocations/maiselandfriends/))

Particularly exciting is The Lab, which is now used as an exclusive event area. Previously, this was the place for quality control of the brewery; today, a flexible setting for meetings, workshops, and presentations has emerged. The large room Galaxy is complemented by the breakout rooms Ariana and Amarillo, which can be separated by sliding walls or used together; all three areas are air-conditioned, flooded with light, and Wi-Fi capable. This makes The Lab suitable for formats that require collaboration, discretion, and flexibility. Callista, on the other hand, is designed for seminar operations and offers a projector, screen, Wi-Fi, flipcharts, and conference materials, while the Tasting Room is deliberately designed as a quiet room for small groups and even has a two-line tap system. The Conference Center thus covers nearly all common event sizes from small workshops to larger conferences. ([maiselandfriends.com](https://www.maiselandfriends.com/de/conference-center/raeumlichkeiten/conf-labor/))

The seating can also be adjusted according to the occasion. Bayreuth Tourism lists, for example, theater, parliament, U-shape, and banquet setups for the Brausaal, which provides good orientation for organizers. Those organizing a product show, an award ceremony, an internal training session, or a festive dinner can plan quite precisely with this. The advantage of this variety lies not only in the choice of rooms themselves but also in the possibility of dramaturgically structuring an event: Reception in the Brennerei/Abfüllerei, conference in Callista or The Lab, dinner in the Brausaal or get-together in the restaurant. This creates not just a room plan but a real event route within a cohesive area. ([bayreuth-tourismus.de](https://www.bayreuth-tourismus.de/mice/eventlocations/maiselandfriends/))

Directions and Parking at Andreas-Maisel-Weg 1

Practically, the location of the Conference Center is a clear advantage. The official visit page states that visitors can arrive by bus, train, or car, and there are sufficient parking spaces available at Andreas-Maisel-Weg 1. Bayreuth Tourism additionally mentions 200 parking spaces for Maisel & Friends, which significantly eases the arrival with one's own vehicle for groups and individual guests. This is particularly important for business events, as spontaneous arrivals, material transports, or the arrival of several vehicles can be resolved without complicated parking searches. The fact that the location is directly on the brewery-adjacent site also ensures short distances between event, gastronomy, and hotel. ([maiselandfriends.com](https://www.maiselandfriends.com/en/visit-us/opening-hours/exklusive-abendevents-im-conference-center-von-maisel-friends-2340/))

The connection with public transport is also described. The official directions mention the ZOH, the central bus station, as a transfer point; from there, bus lines 306 or 325 go to the Bier-Erlebniswelt stop. Those arriving by car can also find specific route instructions via the A9 from Hof or Nuremberg as well as via the B85 from Kulmbach and Bamberg on the site. For visitors to the beer shop, there is even a free short parking ticket for 20 minutes, which can be obtained at the parking ticket machine by pressing the yellow button. This shows that the infrastructure is not only tailored to event guests but also to different visiting occasions. ([maiselandfriends.com](https://www.maiselandfriends.com/en/visit-us/opening-hours/exklusive-abendevents-im-conference-center-von-maisel-friends-2340/))

It is also practical that the address for the entire experience area remains the same: Andreas-Maisel-Weg 1, 95445 Bayreuth. This bundling facilitates communication with guests, as the conference, catering, hotel, beer shop, and experience offerings are located under the same address. Those organizing an event benefit from a simple wayfinding system and clear orientation. Especially for groups arriving by shuttle, taxi, or their own bus, the uniform address reduces inquiries and simplifies the process on the day of the event. For search intents related to directions and parking, this is not only a practical but also an SEO-relevant strength of the location. ([maiselandfriends.com](https://www.maiselandfriends.com/en/visit-us/opening-hours/exklusive-abendevents-im-conference-center-von-maisel-friends-2340/))

Catering, Beer Culture, and Accommodation at the Liebesbier Hotel

Catering is a central part of the offering. Maisel & Friends describes that the catering for events is provided by Liebesbier and ranges from modern finger food to buffet to a classic multi-course menu. The detail page on catering also emphasizes that the cuisine is modern, high-quality, and versatile. This is crucial for conferences and corporate events because it allows for both short coffee breaks and complete evening events or festive menus. Those planning in the Conference Center can thus combine a content-rich event day with a professionally culinary framework without having to coordinate additional external service providers. ([maiselandfriends.com](https://www.maiselandfriends.com/de/conference-center/catering-und-uebernachtung/))

At the same time, the gastronomy itself is part of the experience. At Liebesbier, one sits with a view of the Maisel & Friends brewing workshop; according to the official description, there are over 100 beers from around the world, 21 of which are fresh on tap. The combination of cuisine, beer selection, and direct view of the brewing workshop creates an atmosphere that is excellent for get-together evenings, customer dinners, or informal wind-downs after a conference day. Additionally, the Liebesbier Urban Art Hotel is located right next door: A smart hotel with high-speed fiber optic internet, fitness room, and sauna, whose rooms, foyer, and exterior facade have been individually designed by 70 urban artists. Bayreuth Tourism lists the location with 66 rooms and 128 beds, underscoring its suitability for multi-day business events and group trips. ([maiselandfriends.com](https://www.maiselandfriends.com/de/conference-center/catering-und-uebernachtung/))

This combination makes the location so valuable for organizers. While classic conference houses often only offer rooms, Maisel & Friends provides a package of rooms, technology, catering, accommodation, and environment. The hotel is located directly next to the Conference Center, making it ideal for speakers, teams, and participants who do not need an external transfer solution after a long event day. The restaurant, in turn, combines modern cuisine with beer culture, thus providing a clear thematic connection to the Maisel & Friends brand. This creates an event experience that does not feel like interchangeable business standard but rather like a place with its own character and a strong culinary profile. ([maiselandfriends.com](https://www.maiselandfriends.com/de/conference-center/catering-und-uebernachtung/))

History, Brewing Art World, and Experiences Around Maisel & Friends

The history behind the place is an essential part of its appeal. The Gebr. Maisel brewery was founded in 1887; according to the official brewing tradition, the company's history is characterized by foresight, courage, and the values of a family business. Jeff Maisel founded the brand Maisel & Friends in 2012 together with friends, becoming one of the pioneers of the German craft beer scene. This is relevant for visitors and organizers because the name stands not only for a room or a hotel but for a developed family and brewing culture that remains palpable on-site. The Conference Center is thus not located in an anonymous new building but in the historic main building of a brewery with four generations of history. ([maisel.com](https://www.maisel.com/familie-maisel/brautradition/))

Since 2016, the site has become even more of an experience place with Maisel’s Beer Experience World. The official brewing tradition describes the Beer Experience World as a combination of a historical brewery museum, innovative brewing workshop, and gastronomy concept over more than 4,500 square meters; there one can trace four generations of brewing art, see historical facilities, and experience the modern brewing process. Additionally, the Brewing Art World, which opened in 2025, makes the topic of beer interactively and sensorially accessible under the motto “4 Ingredients, 1,000 Possibilities.” Maisel & Friends was also awarded Visitor Attraction of the Year in 2024 and 2025 at the World Beer Awards. This is a strong signal for the external impact of the location, as it confirms the quality of the overall experience internationally. ([maisel.com](https://www.maisel.com/familie-maisel/brautradition/))

The environment of the Conference Center is thus much more than a beautiful backdrop. There is brewery history, museum content, a modern brewing world, a beer shop, restaurant, hotel, and additional tour offerings. For corporate events, a framework event can be built from this, ranging from a tour through historical facilities to a tasting to dinner in the restaurant. Particularly valuable is that the various components are immediately adjacent and not spread out over the city. Thus, a team event can begin on the premises, continue in a seminar room, and conclude in the evening with food, beer culture, and accommodation. This spatial and content density is a central reason why Maisel & Friends is considered an extraordinary event address in Bayreuth. ([maisel.com](https://www.maisel.com/presse-neuigkeiten/erneut-international-praemiert-maisel-friends-brauereigelaende-in-bayreuth-ist-visitor-attraction-of-the-year-2024-und-2025/))

Maisel’s Weissbierfest 2026 and Other Event Highlights

The event calendar around Maisel & Friends also shows how strongly the location is focused on experiences. The Maisel’s Weissbierfest traditionally takes place on the weekend before Ascension Day on the brewery courtyard in Bayreuth, and admission is free. For 2026, the 36th edition is announced from May 7 to 10. The festival combines live music, enjoyment, and brewery atmosphere and is one of the most important crowd pullers of the brand. So, those interested in the search query Maisel Weissbierfest 2026 will find a clearly dated, official date that highlights the relevance of Maisel & Friends beyond the Conference Center. ([maisel.com](https://www.maisel.com/erleben/maisels-weissbierfest/?utm_source=openai))

This is interesting for event marketing because it shows that Maisel & Friends not only rents out rooms but operates a whole experience world with regular formats and strong recognition value. The Maisel’s FunRun, for example, is a fixed part of the Weissbierfest; in 2026, the starting signal will be given during the festival weekend, and the official documents speak of a popular, sportily accompanied event with family and festival character. Such formats contribute to the image of the location: Those planning a conference or corporate event here benefit from a brand that naturally generates attention and evokes emotions. This is particularly valuable for companies that want to offer their guests more than just a meeting room. ([maisel.com](https://www.maisel.com/presse-neuigkeiten/anmeldung-zum-21-maisels-funrun-startet-am-11-november-2025/?utm_source=openai))

For local visibility, the combination of Conference Center, festival, brewery, hotel, and experience world is also ideal. The search terms around Maisel, Bayreuth, brewery, beer, and parking lead not only to products or seasonal events but also to a concrete event address that connects all these themes. So, those looking for a conference hotel in Bayreuth, an event location with parking, or a place with brewery flair will likely end up at Maisel & Friends. This connection of brand, infrastructure, and experience makes the Conference Center a strong, clearly positioned address in the regional and supra-regional event market. I came for the Germany Tourism Summit brand, and it was wonderful to discover the history of this very old brewery, now in its fourth generation. In addition to the historic brewery, there's a conference room, a brewery restaurant, and a super-technological hotel where I stayed. The beer is excellent; in my opinion, anyone going to the Oktoberfest in Bavaria should continue north. They might not know this place of excellence exists for true beer connoisseurs. Excellent service and a conference room equipped with all the necessities for an international event.

Simply fantastic. This place leaves nothing to be desired. We took a guided tour of the catacombs and had dinner here in the evening. I can wholeheartedly recommend both. We had a very friendly and witty guide who was able to answer all our questions. The dinner was Franconian, of very high quality, and extremely delicious. And the beer, from the Urban IPA to the pale lager and Maisel's wheat beer, was also delicious.

We held our company Christmas party at Maisel & Friends and look back on a truly successful event. Even the pre-event organization was very professional, transparent, and pleasant. Any questions were answered quickly and courteously, so we felt well taken care of from the very beginning. On the day of the event itself, everything ran smoothly: The service was attentive, friendly, and well-coordinated, and our guests repeatedly commented positively on this. The quality of the food deserves special mention – both in terms of taste and presentation were truly top-notch. The venue itself also offers a wonderful ambiance and creates a very pleasant atmosphere for events of all kinds. There was only a minor misunderstanding regarding the appetizer/soup, as we had assumed that several soups would be offered as a buffet. However, this was the only point we would like to mention, and it did not significantly detract from the very positive overall impression. All in all, it was a very successful event, for which we would like to express our sincere thanks. We would hold another event at Maisel & Friends anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend the location and the team.

We held a conference followed by a tour of the brewery's catacombs. The event was planned very professionally and pleasantly in advance, in close collaboration with us. All necessary services were perfectly prepared upon our arrival. Excellent food and drinks were offered throughout the entire complex – from the very good coffee served in the meeting room to the particularly delicious lunch. The on-site support was also outstanding. We highly recommend the tour of the brewery's catacombs; it was truly interesting and entertaining!
