Jazz, Encounter and a Good Cause at Bechersaal
On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the benefit jazz concert celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Erlöserkirche invites you to the Becher restaurant in Bayreuth. The Real Bookstones combine Swing, Blues, Funk, and Fusion into a versatile concert evening with musical joy and a personal atmosphere.
An Evening Between Groove and History
From 7 PM, the Bechersaal opens for arrival, food, and drink. At 8 PM, the concert begins, connecting music and community life. Dr. Klaus Wührl-Struller will guide the evening and complement the stage performance with anecdotes from the history of the Erlöserkirche and the community life.
The Real Bookstones Bring Jazz to Life
The quintet with Robert Koßmann on saxophone, Matthias Morgenstern on guitar, Michael Sonnenstatter on keys, Stefan Wirth on bass, and Johannes Kilian on drums represents a versatile band sound. Between buoyant swing, bluesy tension, funky rhythm, and open fusion moments, a concert emerges that invites both focused listening and swaying along.
Live Atmosphere with a Personal Touch
The musicians use spaces of the Erlöserkirche as rehearsal rooms and dedicate the concert evening to this special place. In the Bechersaal, precise synchronization, rhythmic energy, and melodic dialogues meet an unforced audience atmosphere. The result is an approachable concert experience with changing sound colors, distinctive grooves, and plenty of room for musical interaction.
Benefit for the Erlöserkirche
Admission is free. Donations for the Erlöserkirche are welcome and give the jazz evening additional meaning. The concert celebrates 60 years of the Erlöserkirche while also creating a framework for encounters, good conversations, and shared support.
Conclusion: Experience Jazz Live and Do Good
Visitors can expect a varied concert evening with The Real Bookstones, moderated stories, good gastronomy, and a program of Swing, Blues, Funk, and Fusion. Those who want to experience jazz in a relaxed atmosphere while supporting the Erlöserkirche will find a special evening for music lovers and families in the Bechersaal.
