Festive Bach Music in the Kreuzkirche
Bach's Christmas Oratorio is one of the most famous sacred works in European music history. The focus is on the festive sounds of the Baroque period and the musical depiction of the Christmas season. With the first part of the oratorio, the audience can expect a concert that unites choral music and instrumental accompaniment in a sacred space.
The participation of the Bach Soloists Ensemble Bayreuth, the chamber choir of the Markgräfin-Wilhelmine-Gymnasium, and the cantata choir makes this event a collaborative musical project of various Bayreuth ensembles. For lovers of classical music, this offers an opportunity to experience Bach's Christmas Oratorio live in the city.
