Michael Lane brings heartfelt singer-songwriter sound to the Bayreuth Christmas Market
On Friday, December 18, 2026, Michael Lane will be performing on the action stage of the Bayreuth Christmas Market. Starting at 8:00 PM, his warm voice will meet the wintry atmosphere of the city park in Maximilianstraße.
Indie folk with a personal touch
Michael Lane combines the warmth of indie folk, the accessibility of pop, and acoustic directness. His sound thrives on honest lyrics, melodic clarity, and a stage performance that creates closeness with the audience. Between guitar sounds and expressive singing, a live atmosphere emerges that feels equally calm, intense, and immediate.
From the The Voice finale to the concert stage
The German-American singer gained wider recognition in 2012 through his participation in The Voice of Germany. With his interpretation of Angel, he reached the charts and secured third place in the casting show. Since then, he has released several albums and developed into an experienced live musician across the realms of singer-songwriter, indie pop, and folk.

The action stage of the Christmas Market provides the perfect setting for an evening of handmade music. Lights, market atmosphere, and the open stage ambiance combine with Lane's melodic sound to create a special concert experience. His songs evoke an intimate effect while the wintry backdrop emotionally charges the performance.
