Spooky Fun and Creative Autumn Ideas at FabLab Bayreuth

When chestnuts turn into spiders and small monsters are created from simple materials, a fantastical family experience begins at FabLab Bayreuth. During the crafting workshop Halloween in Autumn, children aged 7 to 11 create their own decorations and discover how much fun learning can be through creative DIY.

Getting Creative with Monsters, Ghosts, and Autumn Figures

Two child-friendly projects are at the forefront: a hanging Halloween garland or a Halloween mobile with individually designed figures, as well as fun chestnut spiders made of chestnuts and pipe cleaners. Frankenstein, pumpkin, ghost, and bat invite participants to implement their own ideas and let their imagination run wild.

Age-Appropriate Crafting Fun with Visible Successes

The workshop is designed for children aged 7 to 11 and lasts for two and a half hours. The manageable group of a maximum of eight children creates space for personal design, collective exploration, and focused work. In doing so, the children experience an age-appropriate learning experience: they plan their own figures, choose materials, and take home their self-made creations at the end.

Quality Time, Children's Laughter, and Creative Development

Crafting with everyday and natural materials promotes fine motor skills, imagination, and the joy of independent creation. At the same time, encounters, children's laughter, and a sense of community arise. FabLab Bayreuth combines creative leisure activities with an accessible approach to practical learning and technology.

Safety and Child-Friendly Guidance

The event takes place in the open high-tech workshop of Upper Franconia. Simple materials are used for the specific crafting program. The limited number of participants supports a manageable, personal workshop atmosphere. No prior knowledge is required.

Conclusion: Own Spooky Decor as a Keepsake

Halloween in Autumn offers children a creative break full of wonder, imagination, and shared time. For those who enjoy monsters, ghosts, chestnut spiders, and handmade decorations, FabLab Bayreuth offers a diverse children's workshop where they can take their own art home.
