Story Café at RW21: Remembering together, listening, and engaging in conversation

On November 11, 2026, the Story Café at the RW21 city library Bayreuth invites you to a relaxed afternoon with coffee and cake. The focus is on personal exchange about former times, formative experiences, and stories that remain alive in conversation.

Memories as a shared cultural asset

The Story Café connects literary conversation culture with biographical storytelling. Each memory opens a unique perspective on daily life, city history, and social change. From individual episodes, a multi-voiced mosaic emerges, where personal experiences count just as much as attentive listening.

An intimate reading atmosphere without a manuscript

The creative workshop on the ground floor of RW21 creates the perfect setting for an open encounter. This is not about a classic reading with a fixed program, but the art of free storytelling: about voices, pauses, surprising turns, and the value of shared attention.

Coffee, cake, and cultural exchange

With coffee and cake, a warm, casual atmosphere is created. The Story Café appeals to people who want to share memories, encounter others' life stories, and actively experience Bayreuth's conversation culture. The RW21 city library sees itself as a space for education, encounter, and cultural dialogue.

Conclusion: An afternoon for stories that stay

Visitors can expect a special literary experience: a meeting with the author without a stage, where life itself becomes the narrative material. Those who enjoy personal stories, shared memories, and inspiring exchanges will experience an invigorating afternoon in the Story Café right in the heart of Bayreuth.
