Advent Raffle at the Bayreuth Christmas Market
On Sunday, December 20, 2026, the city square in downtown Bayreuth will be festive and exciting: The Advent raffle brings visitors to the action stage of the Christmas market. This joint action of the city of Bayreuth, the showmen, and the market vendors combines the pre-Christmas market atmosphere with attractive prizes and regional engagement.
Advent Market Atmosphere in the Heart of Bayreuth
Amidst festively decorated market stalls, warm light glow, and the scents of the Christmas season, the Bayreuth Christmas Market offers a delightful shopping experience. The central location in the city square of the pedestrian zone makes the event a well-accessible meeting point for market visitors, families, and downtown visitors.
Raffle with Regional Connection
Participation in the Advent raffle is linked for visitors to the Christmas market through a ticket received during shopping. The drawing takes place at 4:00 PM on the action stage. Participants must be at least 18 years old; winners must be present at the drawing. The prizes are provided by regional sponsors as well as by showmen and market vendors.
Directly to the Action Stage After Shopping
The Advent raffle adds a special highlight to the traditional Bayreuth Christmas Market in the final sprint before Christmas. Visitors experience regional market culture, personal encounters with producers and market vendors, as well as the festive downtown atmosphere at a central event location.
Conclusion: Those strolling through the Bayreuth Christmas Market on December 20, 2026, combine Christmas shopping, regional diversity, and the excitement of a public raffle. A visit to the city square is particularly worthwhile for the drawing at 4:00 PM.
