How can Europe actively shape its future? The Bayreuth Dialogues 2026 will focus on the theme EUphorie – back to our future on October 24 and 25. An interdisciplinary space for exchange, orientation, and new perspectives on Europe will be created on the campus of the University of Bayreuth.

Politics, Economy, and Society in Dialogue

The two-day, student-organized conference connects current questions from politics, economy, philosophy, and society. Lectures, workshops, and controversial debates bring together different viewpoints and focus on Europe's opportunities, responsibilities, and areas for action.

An Event Experience for Curious Thinkers

Among the announced participants are Sven Smit, former Chairman of the McKinsey Global Institute, and Ruth Hagengruber, Professor of Practical Philosophy and President of the German Society for Philosophy. Their expert perspectives connect economic future questions with philosophical and societal contexts.
