Create Wooden Christmas Decorations at FabLab Bayreuth
As the first autumn days approach, the creative preparation for Christmas begins at FabLab Bayreuth. On Saturday, October 31, 2026, individual wooden Christmas decorations will be crafted in the open workshop – with professional guidance, skilled craftsmanship, and plenty of space for personal ideas.
Wood Turns Into Festive Decoration
The focus will be on decorative wooden stars and other Christmas ornaments like small wooden candles. Participants will work on the material step by step, transforming simple wooden parts into personal pieces for their home or as special gifts.
Creative Event Experience with Professional Guidance
From the first idea to the finished piece, the open workshop offers a practical introduction to woodworking. The experienced team at FabLab Bayreuth will assist with each step and create a pleasant event atmosphere where beginners and skilled craftsmen can implement their own design ideas.
Two Pieces Included
The participation fee includes materials for two small pieces, such as a star or a candle. Those who wish to create additional Christmas decorations will bear the extra material costs themselves. Children are warmly welcome with an accompanying adult.
Open High-Tech Workshop with Tradition
FabLab Bayreuth is a non-commercial open high-tech workshop in Upper Franconia. The organization combines classic craftsmanship with modern manufacturing and aims to provide people with easy access to tools, machines, and production knowledge. Thus, the event fits perfectly into a contemporary event planning that combines creativity, collaborative learning, and handmade results.
Conclusion: Christmas Spirit to Create Yourself
The open workshop invites you to take hold of the pre-Christmas magic yourself. Look forward to wood, tools, individual designs, and visible results that will remind you of this creative workshop day for a long time. Secure your spot and experience the event at FabLab Bayreuth live.
