Stay strong, stay effective: Resilience in Climate Communication
Climate protection requires endurance, but commitment to a sustainable future often brings resistance, frustration, and exhaustion. The workshop Stay Strong - Stay Engaged! Resilience in Climate Communication invites you to Bayreuth on November 12, 2026, to strengthen inner resilience and gain new energy for your own climate communication.
Between Motivation, Resistance, and Change
The focus is on the question of how individuals can remain capable of action even when discussions about climate protection become challenging. Exchange, reflection, and practical exercises open up concrete ways to deal with stress more consciously and to maintain long-term motivation.
Practical Impulses for Climate Communication
The event is aimed at people engaged in climate protection, communication, or accompanying change processes in their environment. The format combines personal reflection with methods from communication and resilience work. This creates a practical event experience that does not remain theoretical, but supports the transfer into everyday life, work, and volunteer activities.
Part of the Regional Climate Conference Upper Franconia
The workshop is part of the RegioCOP - Regional Climate Conference Upper Franconia. The organizer is forum1.5, a transformation platform emerging from the University of Bayreuth at the interface of science and society. forum1.5 brings together science, politics, business, and civil society to strengthen regional climate protection processes. The project was awarded the 2024 Environmental and Nature Conservation Prize of the city of Bayreuth for its work.
Atmosphere at the neuseum
At the neuseum - showcase for innovations at La Spezia Platz, the suitable setting is created for an open and focused evening. The audience atmosphere thrives on personal exchange: thoughts are shared, experiences are categorized, and new strategies for powerful climate communication are developed.
