Discover Virtual Gaming Worlds: VR Meetup at RW21 Bayreuth
On Friday, November 27, 2026, the Game-o-thek at RW21 in Bayreuth will transform into a meeting point for virtual reality fans. At the free VR meetup, young people and other interested parties from the age of twelve can experience immersive gaming worlds and try out various VR headsets in a relaxed event atmosphere.
Gaming up close rather than just on screen
The special appeal of this event lies in the change of perspective: with a VR headset, the screen turns into a walkable game world. On site, a PlayStation VR with exclusive PlayStation games, an Oculus Rift S for gaming PCs, and a wireless Oculus Quest will be available for testing.
Play together, test and exchange experiences
The VR meetup is aimed at anyone who wants to get to know virtual reality or deepen their previous experiences. The shared trying out, discussions about games, and the audience atmosphere make the event an open gaming experience with a personal touch.
Cooperation with E-Sport UBT
The RW21 City Library organizes the VR meetup in cooperation with the Bayreuth E-Sports Association UBT e.V. This connects the event management of the city library with practical event planning, expert targeting, and current impulses from the gaming world. Visitors can also discover new game tips.
Conclusion: Dive in and try it out yourself
The VR meetup at the Game-o-thek offers an uncomplicated event experience for everyone aged twelve and up: free, communal, and right in the heart of Bayreuth. Those who know virtual reality only from videos, but want to experience the technology for themselves, will find the perfect place for an exciting gaming afternoon at RW21.
