FrankenLAN 2026: Three Days of Gaming, Community, and E-Sports in Bayreuth
From October 23 to 25, 2026, the Hofgarten hall of the Friedrichsforum will transform into a pulsating gaming arena. FrankenLAN brings together gaming enthusiasts, e-sport fans, and communities from Upper Franconia – with their own computer, fixed seats, tournaments, and plenty of shared playtime.
LAN Party with Real Community Feel
Here, focused matches, spontaneous team rounds, and relaxed conversations come together. For three days, free play, new encounters, and the special energy of a large LAN party are in the spotlight. Anyone wanting to experience gaming not just online but together on-site will find the right stage in Bayreuth.
Tournaments, Freeplay, and Versatile Program
The party lineup combines competitive e-sports with casual open play. Planned are, among other things, League of Legends and CS2 tournaments. Additionally, there will be a Dungeons-and-Dragons oneshot, a tabletop and card game corner, a Nintendo corner, and a streaming academy for creative contributions to the live program.
BYOC or Premium: Your Spot in the Setup
With the standard and reduced ticket, BYOC applies – Bring Your Own Computer. Participants bring their own computer, monitor, and peripherals while a seat and table space are provided. The premium ticket additionally includes PC, monitor, peripherals, and a gaming chair. This way, the FrankenLAN experience adapts to different play styles and equipment preferences.
Entry, Open Play, and Daily Rhythm
On Friday, October 23, entry starts with setup at 3:00 PM. The official opening follows at 6:00 PM, after which open play runs until 3:00 AM. On Saturday, tournaments and free play are on the agenda, and on Sunday, the event concludes at 6:00 PM.
Conclusion: Gaming Weekend with Festival Feel
FrankenLAN connects e-sports, gaming culture, and real community moments in an intense weekend event. Secure your spot, bring your team, and your favorite game, and experience three days of LAN atmosphere at the Friedrichsforum Bayreuth.
