Conni celebrates her birthday: A cheerful participatory musical for the whole family

When Conni has her birthday, everyday life turns into a colorful stage adventure. The Cocomico musical Conni – The Musical! brings the beloved children's book character live to Bayreuth on March 5, 2027. Families can expect a colorful production at the Friedrichsforum, featuring music, acting, and many opportunities to participate.

A birthday story full of movement

Conni has planned a lot for her birthday. The storyline connects familiar everyday situations with the big feelings that children know from their own world: anticipation, friendship, curiosity, and the exciting question of whether everything will go as planned in the end. This creates a musical experience that speaks directly to young audiences and charmingly takes adults back to their childhood.

Participatory musical with direct connection to the audience

The production by Cocomico Theater is designed as a participatory musical. The audience does not witness a distant stage action, but rather experiences a lively theater atmosphere where singing along, laughing along, and joining in are integral parts of the dramaturgical concept. Directed by Tyler Steele, the story moves clearly, dynamically, and child-friendly through the scenes.

Music, stage design, and acting artistry

The music by Andreas Muhlack gives the production its own rhythm. Colorful stage design, child-friendly costumes, and an animated lighting mood create a sensory theater world where Conni's birthday becomes a grand adventure. The Kammeroper Köln carries out the production, blending musical design with playful acting artistry.

Successful stage character with a large fan base

For decades, Conni has been one of the most well-known figures in German-speaking children's literature. The Cocomico Conni musicals have already reached far over 800,000 small and large visitors. This experience shapes the stage experience: clear character guidance, catchy songs, and a dramaturgy that safely guides even the youngest theatergoers through the action.

For children from three years old

The musical is aimed at children from three years old and invites families to experience a first or next big theater visit together. The audience's reaction happens directly in the hall: shining eyes, spontaneous interjections, and collective singing belong to this special family format.

Conclusion: An afternoon at the theater with Conni

Conni – The Musical! promises a cheerful, musical, and interactive stage experience for the whole family in Bayreuth. Those who want to experience Conni live and celebrate her birthday together will find the perfect place for an energetic, warm, and cheerful afternoon at the theater at the Friedrichsforum.
