Accordion Sounds on a Big Stage: The Annual Concert of the First Accordion Club Bayreuth
On Saturday, November 21, 2026, the First Accordion Club Bayreuth invites you to its traditional annual concert in the European Hall of the CENTER. The orchestra will present a diverse concert program full of colors, dynamics, and musical joy together with the Accordion Orchestra Neustadt bei Coburg e.V.
A Instrument with Many Faces
The accordion unfolds a remarkable sonic range in orchestral settings: warm melodic arcs, rhythmic precision, and powerful tutti passages come together to create a lively stage performance. The First Accordion Club Bayreuth navigates between classical compositions, modern music, and high-quality entertainment music. The repertoire includes original works for accordion orchestra as well as carefully arranged well-known melodies.
Two Orchestras, One Joint Concert Experience
As a musical guest, the Accordion Orchestra Neustadt bei Coburg e.V. will be present. Under the direction of Manuela Maisel or Matthias Hülss, two ensembles will meet that allow the accordion to resonate with different sound concepts and extensive ensemble experience. The synchronization of the voices, precise conducting, and orchestrated interplay promise a multifaceted musical experience.
Tradition in Bayreuth's Cultural Life
The First Accordion Club Bayreuth was founded in 1958 and has been part of the regional cultural landscape for decades. The annual concert traditionally marks the musical highlight of the club year. Since 2016, the event has taken place in the European Hall of the CENTER, where light, stage design, and moderation complement the concert evening effectively.
Live Atmosphere in the European Hall
In the concert hall, the full sound of the accordion orchestra, the immediate audience atmosphere, and the visible joy of making music together merge into a unique concert experience. Those who appreciate accordion music that spans classical, modern composition, and entertaining orchestral music will experience a varied afternoon with regionally rooted musicians.
Conclusion: Experience Accordion Music Up Close
