Brass Sound and Poetry at the Bayreuth Christmas Market
On December 10, 2026, festive brass sounds will combine with the language of poet Heiner Hartmann on the action stage of the Bayreuth Christmas Market. The Wiesenttaler Brass Musicians will present a delightful performance at 6:00 PM on the city stage in Bayreuth.
Warm Sound in a Winter Atmosphere
As the first notes resonate over Maximilianstraße, the powerful sound of the brass musicians meets the special live atmosphere of the Christmas market. The timbres of trumpets, horns, trombones, and tuba create a festive musical backdrop among market stalls, lights, and pre-Christmas audience spirit.
Music Meets Poetry
The musical performance is framed by poems by Heiner Hartmann. This creates a varied interplay of orchestration, rhythmic language, and stage performance. The transition between lyrical texts and brass music gives the performance a personal, reflective touch.
Advent Experience in the Heart of Bayreuth
The action stage of the Christmas market provides the ideal setting for this freely accessible cultural event. Visitors will experience the Wiesenttaler Brass Musicians live and combine their market visit with music and poetry in the heart of Bayreuth's city center.
Conclusion: A Special Moment in Advent
The performance by the Wiesenttaler Brass Musicians with poems by Heiner Hartmann promises a festive concert experience with regional character. Anyone visiting the Bayreuth Christmas Market should not miss this musical-literary evening on the action stage.
