Christmas Choir Sounds at the Bayreuth Christkindlesmarkt
On December 2, 2026, the Choir Peace of the Life Project of Diakonie Bayreuth brings festive Christmas spirit to the action stage of the Bayreuth Christkindlesmarkt. From 2:00 PM, Christmas carols will ring out in the midst of the pre-Christmas bustle of downtown Bayreuth.
Music that Makes Community Audible
The Choir Peace is part of the Life Project of Diakonie Bayreuth and stands for communal singing, encounters, and lived inclusion. A special live atmosphere is created on the city stage: voices blend with the sound of the Christmas market while lights, stalls, and winter scents shape the musical framework.
Festive Sound Outdoors
The program is dedicated to well-known Christmas carols. The choral orchestration of the voices, the joint synchronization, and the focused conducting give the performance its own character. Visitors experience a stage performance that focuses not on grand effects, but on closeness, expression, and the immediate power of singing.
A Choir with a Special History
The Choir Peace has reformed after difficult years. The Life Project reports on a musical development under the direction of Katrin Heinz-Karg, who brings experience in inclusive musical work with people with cognitive disabilities. Performances at the Bayreuth Christkindlesmarkt are part of the choir's tradition.
Christmas Spirit for the Whole City
The performance is aimed at all generations and fits directly into the visit of the Christkindlesmarkt. Families, music lovers, and guests of downtown Bayreuth can experience the choir free of charge and enjoy a festive break from shopping and market activities.
Conclusion
The Choir Peace invites you to a warm, communal concert experience in the heart of Bayreuth. Anyone who wants to experience Christmas carols in an authentic live atmosphere and see the Christkindlesmarkt musically enriched should not miss this performance on the action stage.
