Together Creative: Knitting and Crocheting Café in Bayreuth
Wool, needles, and friendly conversations are at the center of the Knitting and Crocheting Café for everyone in Bayreuth. On November 12, 2026, the Protestant Family Education Center plus Multigenerational House invites you to the Storchenhaus and Storchencafé. The open round is aimed at beginners as well as experienced individuals.
Relaxed Handicraft Round with Personal Atmosphere
Whether picking up stitches, continuing a crocheting project or simply gathering new ideas: the café creates a calm environment for creative work and personal exchange. The event atmosphere remains intentionally relaxed and community-oriented. While hands are busy, conversations, inspiration, and perhaps even new contacts emerge.
Welcome for Beginners and Advanced
What is particularly pleasant is the open character of the offer. Those taking their first steps in knitting or crocheting find a friendly environment for questions and practical tips. Experienced handicraft enthusiasts bring their projects and share ideas, techniques, and experiences. Thus, the event experience connects creativity with intergenerational encounters.
A Meeting Point for Exchange and Community
The Protestant Family Education Center plus Multigenerational House is an established place for education, encounters, and joint activities in Bayreuth. The Storchenhaus at Ludwigstraße 29 provides a suitable ambiance: personal, open, and oriented towards exchange. The event planning targets individuals who want to combine a relaxing leisure activity with social interaction.
