When November draws the days shorter, the Löhehaus in Bayreuth opens a space for movement, encounter, and radiant joy of life. DANCE.LIGHTS.GLORY connects traditional Greek dances with atmospheric music and invites you to an intense stage experience in the dance circle.
Between Cult and Culture
At the center is the Greek dance in its wide cultural range. The event offers a sparkling selection of Greek dance jewels and brings traditional movement patterns to life in a communal atmosphere. From individual steps, a common rhythm emerges, and from concentrated movement, a festive moment arises.
Light, Music, and Common Rhythm
The dramaturgy of the day follows the alternation of calm and energy. From 10 am to 1 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm, there is space for dance discovery, atmospheric music, and the special acoustics of a communal dance circle. The motif of light shapes the staging: Participants bring light into the dark season and carry the experienced radiance into the world.
Open for Beginners
The course leaders Savina and Thomas Chamalidis specifically address people without dance experience. Those who fall out of step will be supported. A Whole Day for Dance Art
